9. Lots of Small Talk
“How are you?” is the most common questions asked and heard everywhere in the United States of America. Whether you are at the bus-stop, store or bank, you are likely to be asked this question by people around you. Do not be surprised if people want to carry lots of small talk with you. This might include topics like weather or sports. You can comment on the current events, too. Lead a polite discussion and do not deepen into topics that may make the person you are talking to feel uncomfortable. Avoid religion and politics. Do not express negativity even if you do not like something.
