Most of those who use this term can hardly explain the meaning. Defining what clean eating means is impossible since there is no such thing like clean food. If you still believe that clean eating exists we suggest you should reconsider the term and call it some other name. There is no dirty eating which means there is no clean eating either. Even if you eat cookies and sugar that you buy in the eco-friendly section of your favorite grocery store, their nutritional value is still the same and you will never lose weight if you eat simple carbs or starch. Your body takes the same amount of calories from fats, oils, protein and carbs. You are very likely to gain weight if you do not control your portion size and practice calorie count. Food is all about proteins, fats and carbs and there are neither ‘clean’ nor ‘dirty’. So this term is no longer valid.
