4. Consuming Too Much Protein
Whether you’re on a low-carb diet or simply like meat, fish, cheese and eggs, protein can cause bad breath. We know how good protein is – it contains no sugar, it has few calories and it keeps you full for a very long time. Protein is absolutely necessary for the body. Consuming too much protein is not the best decision, though. Add some carbs, too. If your menu contains no carbs, the level of ketone bodies rises and your breath become bad.
